Spanning more than eight years, the Pier 400 project has involved initial landfill planning, design, and construction of a 484-acre container terminal for Maersk Pacific Limited. The project encompasses all construction elements from the Transportation Corridor, to the Wharf and Backlands development, to the design-build of the Terminal buildings. The total construction value exceeds $400 million and comprises over 13 different construction contracts. Working closely with sister company, DMJM Harris, DMJM provided program management, design, and construction management services for the new facilities, including buildings, adjacent civil engineering, utility connections, and integration with the surrounding infrastructure and transportation facilities. |
